California has adopted statewide, mandatory codes based on ICBO's uniform codes. Local jurisdictions may only amend the California Building Code to make it more stringent because of unique local climatic, geological or topographical conditions. Colorado

Connecticut
The International Code Council has agreed to publish Connecticut-specific editions of the international and residential codes that incorporate the language of the Connecticut Supplement into the base document.
